Jeong Yong-in
16 years in physiotherapy · TMJ asymmetry researcher
DESIGNED BY AN EXPERT
Designed around principles refined in clinical practice
Physiotherapist Jeong Yong-in is a clinician who has treated patients for 16 years, and also someone living with his own TMJ deformation. Through years of research to correct his own asymmetry, he came to understand the relationship between the TMJ and the face. Asymmetry that couldn't be explained by facial contours alone, or by muscles alone — a structure tangled in complex ways as our body adapts to asymmetry again and again — was never easy to fix. By analyzing the point where the deformation began, along with the head and facial muscles and joints in three dimensions, he understood the structure precisely and found which parts need to change first to improve appearance fastest. He offers a care method on a different level from one-dimensional approaches that simply rub large muscles or protruding areas.
16 years of clinical physiotherapy experience
An assessment framework built from directly researching and correcting his own TMJ deformation
3D analysis of head and facial muscles and joints to trace the origin of the deformation
Not one-dimensional care that only rubs large muscles and bulges, but priority correction that improves appearance fastest
